How can I contribute?

AMAAM is extremely appreciative of the generous support we receive through a number of methods and programs:

Visit our location to drop off your in-kind or financial support

Call us and use your VISA or MasterCard.

Send your check or money order to our address or use the Donation Form to mail your VISA or MasterCard gift. (Please do not mail cash.)

Your VISA or MasterCard gift can be made by faxing the Donation Form.

The AMAAM Monthly Giving Program enables you to divide your total annual gift to AMAAM into 12 monthly donations. On the First banking day of each month, a transfer in the amount you choose is made from your bank account, VISA or MasterCard.

You no longer need to write numerous checks and track tax receipts throughout the year. We do the transfers for you and provide you with one receipt at year-end (December) for your total annual giving.

By joining AMAAM Monthly Giving Program, you help us decrease our administrative costs and your financial support is spread throughout the year to assist with our ongoing operating costs.

Of course, should circumstances change, you may at anytime revise or cancel your monthly donation amount by simply contacting us.

Consider naming AMAAM in your will, with the donation to come from your estate. You can choose to commit a specific amount, or a percentage of your estate. Please contact AMAAM for more information.

A gift-in-kind receipt can be issued for any tangible gift to AMAAM. For example, if you donated a specific item for a AMAAM auction, you would attach an invoice showing its value and you would receive a tax receipt for that amount.

Gift-in-kind receipts cannot be issued for services. Please contact AMAAM for more information about donations of services.

Many groups host fundraising events and activities where proceeds are collected for AMAAM. We are happy to offer guidelines and support for these events. For more information, please contact AMAAM.

Please Note: All donors will receive a registered charitable tax receipt from AMAAM, along with our thanks. In order to comply with U.S. regulations, we must have a legible donor name, address and postal code before a receipt can be issued.

AMAAM is a nonprofit organization with an IRS code of
501 (c) 3.

According to Revenue U.S. regulations, tax receipts can only be issued for donations postmarked for that fiscal year; that is by December 31. The date on the check and the date of receipt at AMAAM are not considered in determining if the deadline has been met. To ensure your tax receipt is issued for the current fiscal year, please be sure it is POSTMARKED prior to December 31. AMAAM will accept a check postdated for December 31 if you would prefer to mail in advance to ensure it is received before the year-end deadline.
